Client Brief:
~ A home not a house, with plenty of room for grandkids and family members to stay both short & long term
~ Comfortable living functions and inclusions to suit the elderly with a ground floor master suite being a key component
~ Elegant and timeless design style leaving a blank canvas to add pops of colour when desired through soft furnishings
~ Thermal windows and acoustic properties to benefit the large corner block and intensions to keep costs of living low
Concept and Features:
As the age of retirement nears, a home filled with an abundance of natural light and a plether of easy living features is exactly what the doctor ordered!
Large open plan living fit to suit the football team of grandkids free to run amuck was a key component in this layout. In the same instance, it also needed to suit a classic and timeless design style allowing the home owners to feel at ease and in complete comfort.
Surrounded by bushland on a sprawling corner block, it was imperitive that that windows were specifically designed and placed to invite as much of the mornign sun in to the rear of the open plan living as possible all while being able to take in the gorgeous views.
